Rangers fans had their first chance to see Eros Grezda from the start of a match on Saturday, making his first full appearance after a number of displays from the bench in Steven Gerrard’s side.
The Albanian international was named in the starting eleven for the trip to Paisley to face St Mirren in Scottish Premiership action, but failed to impress supporters before eventually being substituted off early in the second half.
The highlight of his contribution was hitting the post shortly before being replaced by eventual goalscorer Daniel Candeias.
It’s of course far too early to make certain judgements on his future at Rangers, but many supporters feel they’ve yet to see any proof of why he was worth the £2m it took to sign him from Osijek.
Plenty are hoping for quick improvement and took to Twitter to share their opinion on his Saturday performance…

Early days I know but I fear for Grezda. For a guy making his first start, he’s doing nowhere near enough☹️ #rangers

How has Grezda started in front of Middleton?

Grezda will need time and patience but he’s not the answer when we are struggling badly.

Grezda not offering anything. Surely hooked soon.

Absolutely no one making runs. Morelos plays with his back to goal too much. I've seen enough of Grezda to know he's a bystander.
