Plenty of Rangers fans were massively disappointed by the performance of striker Kyle Lafferty on Saturday, after he failed to impress during a 3-0 Scottish Premiership win at home to Livingston.

It was a massive opportunity for Lafferty to stake a claim for a regular starting place in Steven Gerrard’s squad, but missed chances and lacklustre forward play left many longing for Alfredo Morelos.

The Colombian eventually took to the field just after the hour mark and left no-one in any doubt about who the best striker at the club is, clearly outperforming Lafferty and pushing the Gers towards the three points.

The Northern Ireland international made the switch from Hearts in the summer has impressed on a few occasions, but he’s failed to really hit his stride and many are now looking for more from the 31-year-old.
