It’s not just Kyle Lafferty that has designs on a return (Click Here) to Rangers, Everton’s Steven Naismith has also said that he would like to one-day return to Ibrox as well, at least he ‘wouldn’t rule it out’ anyway.
In a ‘Quickfire’ questions round on the BBC Naismith spoke about the time he had with Lafferty at Ibrox, ahead of Scotland’s meeting with Northern Ireland when the former teammates go head to head, and how they were ‘probably some of the best of their careers’ and like Lafferty would go along with him on the thoughts about returning.
This wouldn’t be something that would happen for the foreseeable, whatever we might want, as it’s not a financially viable option and he’s more than happy in the Premier League with Everton where he’s playing regularly and enjoying his football.
But he also knows ‘things can change so quickly in football’ so he would ‘never rule anything out to be honest.’
