Steven Gerrard has made some good signings so far and he has certainly shown he’s willing to get involved in the transfer market.
We made a whole host of signings during the summer window as he came into the club and we’ve gone again in this window with some of the new faces perhaps not proving up to it.
His strike-rate is not perfect, then, but whose is? And in the main, I think we can be pleased with the squad he and the board has put together so far.
That said, he’s on the look out for more players in this window and one man linked after reports in Iraq came to light is young forward Mohanad Ali:
