Kenny McDowall has said he’d be delighted if the team can repeat their work in our trip to Brora this season having been delighted with what happened this time last year.

The training trip will include two games, one against Buckie Thistle before we then meet our hosts Brora in a friendly at Dudgeon Park.

Rangers are staying in the same place as we were last season and using the same facilities, so McDowall is hoping that familiarity can help give us the same level of pre season preparation that we enjoyed last time round.

Speaking to the Official Site he explained.

‘We’re hoping thing go exactly the same way again. As well as being an enjoyable time up there, we got a lot of hard work done too. that was the main reason we were there and it was pleasing we were able to make the progress we did. When we were looking at the early part of this pre season, we were keen to keep a bit of continuity in terms of what we do.’

McDowall says that to him and others at the club finding a place that pleases everybody, well it just makes sense to return there and hope second time around does the trick like the first time, and that was the exact thinking behind this trip to Brora.

‘We’ve got some new players in the squad and taking everyone away lets them bond and gel together as a team.’
