Lee McCulloch returned to training yesterday after finishing his week in Turkey.
The player was allowed a bit of extra time off to go over for the U20 World Cup as part of his coaching badges.
Speaking to the Official Site Ally McCoist said he was pleased to have him back, but he had no issues with him missing the opening to training.
‘I was in that position myself not so long ago and we as a club would actively encourage our players to take their coaching badges and we will support them in any way we can. Obviously Lee missed the first few days of training but that’s not a problem because he’s a fit lad and he looks after himself.’
