Regarding earlier story that Rangers could be willing to rename Ibrox Stadium to the Sports Direct Arena. Manager Ally McCoist has given his view.
The Rangers manager said: “I can appreciate it is a really delicate issue as you would expect and I would imagine it will split fan opinions, if you like. I`ve got to be honest and say my own opinion is I`m pretty open-minded about it. At the same time, I definitely think the fans would have to have a voice on this matter.
He added: It`s a really delicate situation because we saw the reaction of the Newcastle fans and what happened down there. At this moment in time, I`m neither for or against the idea because I understand the business side of it but I see there is history and tradition there too.’
