According to the Herald, Ryan Lowe has said that Jordan Rossiter is ready to play for Rangers and do a job for our club in midfield.
Rossiter has suffered a few injuries during his time at Ibrox and it is clear that he has fallen down the pecking order a little in terms of the middle of the park.
However, he is a player with class and for Bury he has been excellent, with Lowe saying he is ready.
And, indeed, he could be like a new signing for us.
Rangers will be looking to add to their side this summer but Rossiter, who hasn’t played much, deserves a chance too.
He was excellent for Bury and played plenty of minutes as well as training regularly for the Shakers.
Some promising stuff, then, and it might well work out that we don’t need to add in this role as much as we thought.
