Canadian defender Luca Gasparotto has said he was thrilled to make his Ibrox debut in the historic friendly against Linfield tonight.
Rangers came out as two nil winners and keeping a clean sheet on your debut is nothing to sniff at.
The defender who turned 18 last month, has been with the club for 18 months and speaking to the Official Site following the game, he said.
‘It was unbelievable, I’m still trying to take in what has just happened. It was great to get a half, I honestly didn’t expect to get as long as that. To make my debut at Ibrox is an unbelievable feeling and hopefully I can get a few more chances before the season is over.’
Gasparotto adds that now the title is won he’s hoping that Ally McCoist will look to blood some of the younger talent at the club now the pressure is off, and he obviously hopes he can take advantage of that to impress.
