It’s been a few days of celebration for Rangers fans. The Gers have moved quickly to wrap up a couple of deals in the January transfer window, with Steven Davis the latest player to move to Ibrox.
Of course, he previously played for the club before moving down to Southampton, and so unsurprisingly, he’s proving to be a very popular recruit.
Can’t wait to get started https://t.co/Fi8lZlBPPr

In response, plenty of Rangers fans have delivered their verdict, and it’s fair to say that you’d struggle to find a more popular man in Glasgow at present. Fans appear to be convinced that good times are coming following the arrival of Davis, with the Northern Irish midfielder expected to make a big impact for his new team.
He’s certainly got the talent to have a big impact. He’s looked good for Southampton over the years, and whilst he’s not the sort of player that will deliver big performance after big performance, he’s always consistent in the heart of the midfield.
