Neil Lennon seems to be on our screens and on our radios more than he was when he was Celtic manager, unfortunatel, this only seems to increased the amount of nonsense that he is able to share with the world.

Fresh from his “the world was against us” conspiracy filled rant on the BBC, he has now given his less-than-asked-for opinion on Steven Gerrard’s tenure as Rangers boss on Talksport, as reported by Glasgow Live.

After claiming that Gerrard has had an easy ride, he then turned his attentions to his former club and the current shambles at Parkhead, but, apparently, things aren’t as bad as the seem, claims Neil:

“Obviously there are four or five there who want to move on and then they’ve got to get the recruitment process sorted out as well.

“I think once they get the quality of players in that can be expected to challenge in Scotland, I think they will be alright. I don’t think it will be as bad as everybody is making out.”

Right. So, they have to replace “four or five” who don’t want to be there for starters, nearly half the team. Then there is the small issue of the players that are still around not being good enough, for example Anthony Ralston and Stephen Welsh have signed new contracts and look set to start the new season in the first XI.

How many players do Rangers have at the Euros this summer?

It says it all about Lennon that he is oblivious to the shambles he has left behind, and how quickly everything that Brendan Rodgers built, so spectacularly unravelled, not that you’ll find us complaining anytime soon.
