It’s been a very exciting few weeks for Rangers. The Gers have brought in a few new faces as they look to build towards a sustained title challenge, and they’ve only been looking at big names.
Specifically, Premier League veterans Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis have both moved to Ibrox. The arrival of the pair is a very exciting prospect for the Gers, and it’s fair to say that fans will have been waiting with bated breath in their quest to see them both in a Rangers shirt.
Fortunately, they don’t have to wait any longer, with the pair making their non-competitive debuts for the club at Ibrox, in a friendly match with HJK Helsinki.

With their debuts now in the past, both Davis and Defoe can look forward to the real business of the season, namely the return of the league. They’ve been brought in to help our title challenge, and we’re expecting them both to impress. Our first game is coming up on Wednesday, against Kilmarnock, and it’s going to be a tough one.
Perhaps we’ll see a classic Steven Davis assist, or maybe even Jermain Defoe will open his goalscoring book at Rangers. We’re very excited indeed.
Thoughts?
