Rangers put us through our paces last night in terms of our heart-rate and eventually it proved far from worth it.
For the first-half we were good going forwards but poor defensively but we did at least go into the break in front.
Certainly, if we could just sharpen up at the back we would be rolling but the Gers simply could not do such a thing and we got caught twice in a matter of minutes.
So it stayed, too, at 4-3 and the Gers have got some work to do if they are to progress – though it is not out of the question.
With that in mind, then, Steven Gerrard has made comments that we’ll all subscribe to:
????️GERRARD: "Football is about levels and if you don’t defend properly and you don’t do the basics well enough, high-level players and high-level teams normally punish you and that was the case tonight, so we are disappointed with the result."

It’s time now, though, to actually act and improve on these areas.
