Rangers final game of the league season against Hearts has been moved, and selected for live coverage.

All of the final weekends action has now been moved to 12.15pm kick offs on Saturday May 2.

We therefore travel to Tynecastle to bring the regular season to a close to face Hearts and the match is to be screened live on RangersTV and Sky Sports.

An SPFL statement read.

‘Following consultation between the SPFL, member clubs and broadcast partners regarding the final round of Championship fixtures over the weekend of 2 & 3 May 2015, Sky Sports has now suggested an alternative schedule for its televised Championship match that weekend. As a result, we are pleased to confirm all five Championship matches that weekend will now kick-off simultaneously at 12.15pm on Saturday 2 May. The Hearts v Rangers match will be televised live on Sky Sports. The SPFL would like to thank Sky Sports for its flexibility and understanding and we`re sure all football fans will look forward to an exciting climax to the Championship season.’

Alloa Athletic v Cowdenbeath – Kick-off 12.15pm
Dumbarton v Raith Rovers – Kick-off 12.15pm
Falkirk v Hibernian – Kick-off 12.15pm
Hearts v Rangers – Kick-off 12.15pm – live on Sky Sports and RangersTV (exc. UK/ROI)
Livingston v Queen of the South – Kick-off 12.15pm

This latest change comes after some consternation about the final weekend’s original schedule once Sky Sports got their hands on the game.

Speaking yesterday manager Stuart McCall had admitted he more than understood the concerns of fellow Championship clubs when it was announced that our game against Hearts would take place on Sunday May 3, and he said himself that the fixtures should take place at the same time but the TV companies called the shots and it was nothing specifically to do with Rangers.

‘We`d be exactly the same if it was us, but we`ve not asked for that game to be switched. What I think should happen is that all the games should be moved to the same time, if in fact TV is ruling the roost on that one. It`s nothing to do with us. We`ve not asked to play on the Sunday but if that is the case I can fully understand the other clubs being disappointed by it. On the last game of the season we all should play at the same time.’
