Happy Birthday Gazza.
Paul Gascoigne is 54 today, many happy returns.
The flawed Geordie Genius landed at Ibrox in the Summer of 1995 and arguably, had the best spell of his career.
£4.3 million was the fee that brought him to Glasgow from Rome where he had played for Lazio.
Straight from the off, Gazza and Rangers was something of a love affair.
Happy Birthday Gazza! 🥳
A genius on the football pitch, a player unlike any other ✨

In just under three years, Gazza recorded 30 goals in 74 appearances but that only tells half the story.
Many memorable moments and iconic events of the 90s era at Ibrox took place, with Gazza front and centre.
He was instrumental in the eight and nine in a row, think of those goals against Celtic and his contribution against Aberdeen on the last game on the 95/96 season.
There was the famous League Cup final and bust up with Ally McCoist in 1996 when the Englishman bagged a brace.
Who will forget Gazza booking the referee at Ibrox against Hibs, just so many memories.
During this time was of course Euro ’96 and THAT goal against Scotland, past his Ibrox teammate Andy Goram at Wembley – truly iconic.
That was Paul Gascoigne of Rangers and England.
