Just following the game against Dumbarton at the weekend, manager Mark Warburton brought in Polish goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski.

The 27 year old had previously been at the club on trial towards the end of last year, and the other day he put pen to paper on a six month contract so we can better assess him in the remainder of the 2015-16 campaign.

The 6ft 5in keeper comes to us from Lech Posnan, where after joining them back in 2013, he made 44 appearances across two season.

Speaking to the Official Site after signing his deal, the stopper said.

‘This is a great opportunity for me and with my experience I think I can bring something to Rangers. They are a huge club with a great history and I am delighted to be here.’

He could debut in the Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox against Cowdenbeath this weekend and he becomes the second signing of the January window following on from the capture of Harry Forrester last week.
