Rangers supporters eager to see Glenn Middleton start against Croatian side NK Osijek on Thursday night at Ibrox after another impressive showing in the recent friendly against Wigan.

The Gers take a 1-0 lead into the second leg of their UEFA Europa League qualifying tie against the visitors and need a strong performance in front of the home support to secure passage into the next stage.

Middleton has only ever appeared as a substitute in competitive matches previously, so to start him on Thursday would be a massive call from Steven Gerrard, but one which could pay off massively.

The young winger has given the side a unique attacking edge when he has played, possessing the pace, skill and fearlessness that supporters love to see.

Now fans want to see him gain his first start for the upcoming tie, with a massive 84% of respondents to a poll we published at the weekend believing he deserves it and is ready to shine.
