As quoted by the club’s official website, Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has hinted that now is the time for the squad to be trimmed down and so exits could be on the way.

The summer has been pretty productive so far.

We have seen the likes of Joe Aribo, Greg Stewart and several others arrive in the window but that has left us with a large squad.

It seems, then, that Steven is ready to try and cut it down somewhat judging by his latest set of comments.

He had this to say:

“We have naturally got a big squad at the moment so some will drop out and by doing that, the quality will rise as well.”

It seems, then, that he is ready to shrink down the numbers whilst he’s also already left the likes of Kyle Lafferty and Jordan Rossiter out of the squad to Portugal so they could well be on the way from Ibrox this summer too.

I’m liking his work so far this summer, and I’m sure he’ll get this right too.
