The Birmingham Mail has sought to try and provide some clarity over the situation involving Ryan Kent at the moment with it still unclear as to where he is going to end up.
The Gers had a decent season last year and Kent certainly played a real part in matters with him performing brilliantly.
Indeed, we’d like to keep him for next season but whether he comes to Ibrox again remains to be seen.
The report suggests the Gers are still in a good position to bring him in, with Middlesbrough also keen whilst Leeds and Aston Villa might be a little further back in the race for him.
Liverpool would like to seal a permanent exit for him and the player is thinking about moving to settle at a club but the Gers can only do a loan deal this summer rather than meet their asking price.
An interesting set of circumstances, then, and hopefully we can convince that a loan deal is the right course of action.
