Ahead of Rangers pre-season clash with Arsenal at Ibrox on Saturday, the squad has been given a lift with the return of some familiar faces as well as a much awaited new one.
With the players on duty at EURO 2020 being granted extended leave, they are only now starting to return to base.
Glen Kamara, Nathan Patterson and Jon McLaughlin were all back on the Auchenhowie training pitch to kick-off their new season preparations.
Fil Helander and Borna Barisic will be monitored with their recent inhuries in mind, time will be spared so that any continuing problems are not exacerbated.

A new arrival has also landed!
With the arrival of Fashion Sakala at Rangers on Thursday, an important attacking option has been added to the squad – this is particularly relevant with Alfredo Morelos yet to return from Copa America duty and ongoing speculation around his future.
Sakala’s infectious energy and positivity will be an asset to the dressing room, as he settles into life in Glasgow but don’t rule out the Zambian making an instant impact.
It will be interesting to see if he makes a cameo appearance at Ibrox on Saturday against the Gunners – but that will depend on his fitness and condition, to be assessed by the coaching staff over the next couple of days.
🏡 Welcome to Ibrox.
