It has been revealed today that former Rangers striker Florian Kamberi, is set for a move to promotion chasing Bundesliga 2 side, Bochum. 

The player spent time at Ibrox last season on loan from Hibs, making nine appearances overall with a return of one goal.

Today, Sky Sports have reported on their Transfer Centre blog  that “Former Rangers and Hibs forward Florian Kamberi is in talks to join VfL Bochum on loan from St Gallen. ”

“A number of English Championship sides were also interested in the 25-year-old. Bochum are second in Bundesliga 2.”

Kamberi only signed for his Swiss parent club St. Gallen in August on a three yeal deal but could be on the move again.

He has not scored yet in the Swiss Super League this season, with eight appearances to date.

VfL Bochum are currently enjoying a productive season in the German second tier, occupying 2nd place. 

They will have their sights on promotion and Kamberi would add another attacking option in their Bundesliga push.
