Former Gers midfielder, the enigmatic Hamed Namouchi, has scored himself a move to German side Freiburg.
The Tunisian international was a favourite of our former boss, Alex McLeish, after arriving from the youth ranks at Cannes over 5 years ago.
After leaving Rangers, Namouchi headed to his semi-native France to join Lorient.
You’ll remember that he arrived with another French midfielder, Marko Kalenga, who disappeated into obscurity.
It’s amazing the names you forget! There were some truly weird and wonderful signings during the McLeish era…
