Many Rangers fans on social media have been demanding that EA Sports make their “dream” come true and release a special edition FUT card for Ianis Hagi on FIFA 20.

EA are currently celebrating the 11th year of their ultimate team game mode by releasing two unique teams featuring players with boosted stats, as well as awarding each player selected 5-star skills or weak foot ability for the first time.

Gers supporters are hopeful that the Vancouver-based company will honour Hagi with a card in the second iteration of their birthday squads, after FIFA YouTuber Danny Aarons shared a render of what the 10-cap Romanian’s card could look like.

Steven Gerrard is unveiled as Rangers boss

Who was Steven Gerrard's first signing as Rangers manager?

Hagi has been a regular member of Steven Gerrard’s plans since his arrival on loan from KRC Genk in January, but the 21-year-old’s efforts are yet to earn EA Sports’ attention, which could have seen the rumoured Lazio target honoured with a Team of the Week inclusion.

The €5-6million-valued (£4.4-£5.3m) midfielder has been given minutes in all 12 available games since moving to Ibrox on Deadline Day, while starting all but two of his outings thus far.

So, with FUT Birthday team 2 coming up on Friday, April 3, fans have demanded EA Sports include Hagi in the side.
