Rangers will be looking to lay down a marker tomorrow night as we take on Kilmarnock in the league.

Killie have been good this season but we have been better and if we have plans on winning the title this year, this is the sort of game that you need to be earning three points from.

It should, then, be a fascinating game between two decent sides and it’ll also be intriguing to see how Jordan Jones does.

Of course, we have signed him on a pre-contract but it looks likely he will play against us tomorrow night and he’s bound to want to put on a show.

He’s made his happiness at signing evident, too, with a tweet that caused controversy and was slammed by his current supporters as he celebrated the move.

Indeed, much has been said about it and ahead of the game Lee McCulloch has addressed it with his column in the Glasgow Evening Times.

He said:

“It was maybe a bit naïve. You have to remember he is still young and everyone makes mistakes.

“I know Jordan well and I know his mentality. He always bounces back from setbacks, regardless of what they are, and I am confident he will be right on his game when Rangers face Kilmarnock tomorrow night.”

Let’s see, then, how his mentality holds up tomorrow as he faces his soon to be employers.
