Rangers team line-up ahead of the Europa League clash against Alashkert at Ibrox revealed an embarassing faux-pas.

At first glance, nothing appears out of place but take a closer look at Ryan Kent’s shirt.

How does this happen and not get noticed by so many staff in the dressing room?

It is trivial in the grand scheme of things but this should not happen.

Somehow, Ryan Kent took to the pitch in the home shirt displaying the regular 32Red sponsor logo but the rest of his teammates had the Unibet brand on theirs.

So why the difference?

Both 32Red and Unibet are gambling brands owned by the Kindred Group, the same parent company.

The reason for the difference is that Unibet is being used on Rangers shirts in Euro competitions as it is the more prominent brand across the continent, compared to the UK focused 32Red.

After this mistake tonight, a fine may follow from UEFA according to the rule book.

Regardless, it doesn’t look well for the club and causes mild embarassment which clearly should have been avoided.
