Rangers have signed American duo Carlos Bocanegra and Alejandro Bedoya. Bocanegra is the captain of the United States and could make his debut against Maribor tomorrow.
The signing of Bedoya was expected, we already knew about this one and it was just a matter of agreeing the fee with his former club Orebro. The move for Carlos Bocanegra is out of the blue though and is in actual fact breaking news which has just been announced on Rangers’ official facebook page.
No doubt we will find out more on the swoop for the American captain, but he should be a good signing for the club and can play at centre back and left back. He joins up from French club St Etienne.
Previous clubs include Chicago Fire, Fulham and Rennes. Until we here more from the official site everything else is unknown. That includes the fee paid, and whether or not he is at Murray Park or Ibrox right now awaiting a press conference.
