Rangers are now apparantly cooling their interest in David Goodwillie and are seemingly unwilling to match Dundee United’s £2 million price tag.
Rangers had a bid rejected last week which fell well short of the £2 million Dundee United want for the player. Rangers are now thought to be looking at other targets which will leave the door open to Cardiff who are willing to meet the £2 million price.
It just goes to show the state of Scottish football when clubs in England’s second tier have more financial clout than the champions of our country. Quite embarrasing really.
However I don’t expect this to be the last we here about it. I still think, or rather hope that Rangers can still sort this one and bring Goodwillie to Ibrox.
