Rangers don’t need telling how important this evening’s clash with Hibs is. We’re now 8 points behind Celtic, and though winning the title can now only be considered a pipedream, we’ve got to keep at it.
Fortunately, our form over the last few weeks has been pretty brilliant, and so on paper at least, we should go into the game as favourites.

In truth, the game probably is one that we can’t afford not to win. An 11 point margin between us and Celtic would almost certainly close the door on any chance of a title win, whilst also allowing Aberdeen to come within 5 points of us in the SPFL. Not to mention, a win is important to keep our morale high, given our strong recent record.
Of course, with his Celtic connections, Sutton’s likely just trying to stir the pot a little bit here, but that doesn’t make his statement any less true. And to be fair to him, he certainly knows more about the Scottish top flight than most.
It’s vitally important that we pick up a win.
Thoughts?
