After Belgrade, it seems certain that there will be changes to Rangers line-up for today’s Premiership clash against Dundee.

The Europa League qualifiction secured on Thursday, despite defeat on the night, came with a heavy exertion and impact on those players involved with three subs used in the second half.

Those who came into the game were James Sands, Scott Arfield and Kemar Roofe who will come into the reckoning today along with Fil Helander, Aaron Ramsey for a starting slot.

It remains to be seen if Alfredo Morelos issue late in the game has been shrugged off or if it will cause an issue for the Dundee game and perhaps for his Colombia call in the upcoming international break. The manager will need to shuffle his pack to an extent today but there are options and quality available at his disposal.

Sands and Ramsey were deployed successfully at Dens Park last week so there will no issues if that call is repeated. Likewise, Roofe’s application has been excellent recently despite only featuring from the bench. His hunger is clear to see.

At the pre-match interview, Gio stated:

“It’s just a case of seeing who is available today and tomorrow, who’s fresh, who doesn’t look fresh and then make the best possible line-up to go to Dundee and get the three points.”

This game is solely about the three points but the Gers have more than enough to hit the goals and make an emphatic statement, even after last week’s comfortable performance against Dundee in the Scottish Cup.

A two week break for domestic duty comes after today before the mammoth Old Firm encounter on 3rd April at Ibrox. Get the job done, be professional and ensure no other noise ahead of the significant build-up to follow after the international window.
