The advent of social media, blogging and podcasting has driven fan media to a whole new level and Rangers are blessed to have some of the best in football.

This season we have seen Follow Follow, Heart and Hand, This Is Ibrox and, of course, our very own Graeme Hanna representing Vital Rangers providing content from inside the press room.

At a time when no fans were getting into Ibrox, having a voice at press conferences gave us an insight that we have rarely been afforded in the past and those representatives that were lucky enough to get accreditation did not let us down or disappoint – in fact, some of the best questions asked to Steven Gerrard and his coaching staff came from fan media regarding subjects like tactics and formations.

Which brings me to my point.

Put yourself in the position where you are sat in front of Steven Gerrard on his first day, and you have one question to ask.

Who is he going to bring in to support him? What markets will he be shopping in for players? Does he already have a philosophy? You’d want to hear the answers to these, right? Imagine if someone asked him about Roy Aitken taking a throw in that led to a goal when it should have been a Rangers throw, or Davie Robertson’s goal being disallowed for offside when he was clearly on, or perhaps about why have no Celtic players every been charged by the compliance officer – you’d think they were off their heads.

Well, this is exactly what one member of the Celtic fan media brigade did today on Ange Postecoglou’s first day, and it is a truly stunning piece of footage, in fact, I’ll let the video do the talking.

Where do you start?

And that, ladies and gentlemen is the perfect example of the difference between the two club’s supports, a club like no other? Aye, no half!
