Michael Beale has named his Rangers team to face Motherwell at Ibrox tonight with starts for Alex Lowry and a return for Borna Barisic in place of Adam Devine.

It is another fresh look for the side with three other chances from the eleven that took to the pitch on Friday against Ross County.

What is also likely is that a couple of spots will be up for grabs on Monday in the massive Old Firm encounter but full focus can ony be on this game tonight with a performance required against Motherwell.

Rangers will also be out to make amends for last season when the Fir Park team secured a draw on their two visits to Ibrox.

The options in reserve for Rangers and Beale tonight are as follows:

McLaughlin, Matondo, Kamara, Sands, Wright, Fashion Jnr, Arfield, King, Devine.

Shuffle

Those decisions on Lowry and Devine in particular, are two big calls with plenty expected in terms of impact on the pitch.

It is very interesting for Barisic to earn an instant recall given how strongly the manager backed Devine in recent days following three very competent performances on his ‘wrong’ side. The Croatia international will be expected to turn it on tonight to validate the decision to throw him back in, especially with what follows in a few days time.

Elsewhere, Allan McGregor returns as expected as does Ryan Jack but there is no place in the squad for Antonio Colak or Kemar Roofe who have returned to training. Beale had stated that a call will be made on the pair and we now know the outcome of that.

A fourth consecutive Premiership win is the order of the day for Rangers who will be aiming to go through the gears against a Motherwell team without a win since the end of October, five games ago for Steven Hammell’s side.

The match is live and exclusive on Rangers TV, including the UK with the kick-off at 7.45pm.
