Was having an Easter Sunday debate with the family about the great Rangers goals of the past, trying to decide between us the greatest ever goal.
There is of course so many to choose from. Most of them against Celtic it has to be said. Ones that came up included Ray Wilkins against Celtic, Gazza against Celtic (twice – one at Parkhead and the other at Ibrox in the same season, his first season), Gazza against Aberdeen when we clinched 8 in a row. Davie Cooper’s free kick in the 1987 league cup final against Aberdeen.
The one that sticks in my mind though is, and I don’t think you’ll see a better goal anywhere! Davie Cooper against Celtic in the Drybrough Cup Final in 1981.
