Rangers suffered a tough night last night in Switzerland as we threw away a 1-0 lead against Young Boys to end up losing 2-1.
Throwing it away, too, is exactly what we did.
After Alfredo Morelos had put us in front, we were level fairly soon after thanks to a defensive mistake.
In truth, it wasn’t a great game and perhaps a draw would have been fine, but James Tavernier had a meltdown in the final minutes and, of course, we lost the game.
A shame, then, as we could have got a result there for sure, but we have to move on and quickly with league commitments coming up.
One ray of light from the match, though, was Morelos.
Again, he had a top game and showed all the brilliant traits he has as a number 9 to bully his defender before coolly scoring to put us in front.
That wasn’t lost on fans on Twitter, so let’s take a look at what has been said about him on social media…

Morelos' ability to hold off a defender is a thing of beauty. He could hold Gemma Collins off from an all you can eat buffet

Morelos is bargain of the century, don’t even find deals like that in the weird middle isle at Lidl #WATP
