There is very much a nineties feel to Rangers just now, top of the league, Celtic in turmoil and we are cherry picking the best players of the teams below us in Scotland.
And it is safe to say that they are not taking it at all well.
Aberdeen fans seem to be getting themselves awfully upset about a player that they don’t rate and with the news that Scott Wright is joining Rangers in the summer, they have well and truly been triggered.
Their loser mentality that was content with being the “second best team in Scotland” in our absence has obviously taken an irreparable dent now that they are resigned to being perennial also rans, closer to relegation than they are to us at the top – the bitterness is almost tangible.
If you thought that Celtic fans weren’t handling their predicament well, wait until you read how well Aberdeen fans are handling losing Wright – not that they rated him of course…
