Steven Gerrard gave his pre-match press conference earlier today and it is fair to say that it was a bit of a mixed bag.
The Gers have been very strong at times this season and a title challenge is on the cards but we, like any other side, need to avoid injuries.
This weekend, though, Gerrard revealed the likes of Jermain Defoe and Kyle Lafferty are doubts – adding to the suspension issue we have right now.
However, amid the uncertainty, Gerrard did confirm one piece of team news for the game tomorrow with St Johnstone – as per the club’s tweet below:

Allan McGregor, of course, is missing tomorrow and the following game thanks to suspension and so it gives Wes Foderingham the chance to return.
We’ve seen very little of Wes this season but he’s got ability and so this shouldn’t be the biggest problem for us to have selection wise – good luck to him.
