Football, eh.

There have been Rangers comeback wins previously, even as recently as last Thursday, as well as those snatched against all odds – think of the famous League Cup win in 2010 with 9 men against St Mirren – but such a late win from a losing position was as remarkable as it was unexpected and dramatic.

Michael Beale remained focussed and stern at the third goal despite being delighted at grabbing such an important three points. The manager spoke very well, reflecting on the good and bad aspects of the win at Pittodrie with the clear message is that there is still so much work to be done.

That is quite obvious but it was good to have it emphasised last night and the win will not paper over those cracks.

However, the sheer joy and elation of the late rally to take the three points back to Glasgow thanks to Scott Arfield’s double has to be enjoyed and this line from Sky Sports commentator Ian Crocker summed it up very well:

“Aberdeen thought they were about to get their best ever Christmas present – but it’s Rangers who have struck right at the end, extraordinary!”

Unbelievable I am still in heaven with the way the Gers never get up performance, and they are going back to their best just in time to beat the Scum Bags. Come on the Gers Shankill Ray
