Last night Rangers held their annual Player of the Year awards night at the Glasgow Hilton.

With return to the Premiership secured in the 2015/16 campaign by being crowned Championship title holders, and lifting the trophy at the weekend following the Alloa Athletic game, Rangers have also added the Petrofac Training Cup to the cabinet this year – and as the tweet above – there’s still the potential to add the Scottish Cup and make it a domestic treble and put the club back in European competition next season with the Hibernian game to come.

Skipper Lee Wallace was presented with the John Greig Achievement Award on the night, and he was also crowned Player of the Year for his own performances.

The Young Player of the Year Award went to Barrie McKay, whilst the Players’ Player of the Year went to Martyn Waghorn.

Waghorn also picked up the Sam English Bowl.

Finally, Goal of the Season went to James Tavernier for his strike against Peterhead.
