Bit of a New Year catchup, as the January transfer window opened Rangers confirmed that youngster Ryan Hardie had made a development loan out to Raith Rovers.

The young forward hasn’t long returned to the club as the 19 year old spent the first half of the season out on loan with St Mirren where he found the net three times in 17 appearances.

He heads to Raith now on a deal until the end of the campaign to further aide his development.

This year he has also featured twice for our Under 20 side, playing in the Scottish League Challenge Cup, scoring in both matches and he made his Raith debut as a substitute in their two nil loss to Dunfermline on Monday.

Hopefully it’ll be another productive spell for the player and he’ll get plenty of game action, Falkirk this weekend could potentially see his full debut for his new loan club.
