Would you take Rino back?

Rino Gattuso, a World Cup winner with Italy in 2006, and a fan favourite in his Rangers days. His best days are behind him but would you welcome him back to Rangers?

In his time in Scotland, he married a Scottish girl, so he has ties here. We all know he loves Rangers and he is good pals with Ally McCoist, the next Rangers manager. Could it be possible he could end his great career at Ibrox?

It has looked clear recently that he is not the player he once was. His best years are behind him, and that was apparant recently when his frustration got the better of him and he got himself into a bit of bother in the AC Milan v Tottenham game, resulting in a four match ban for his troubles.

But while his time at the top level may be nearing an end. He could no doubt still do a job for a couple of years at Ibrox. In the central midfield where he belongs, not at right-back where Walter Smith used to play him.

He joined Rangers as a teenager back in the early nineties before going back to Italy to play for Salernitana. His performances for Salernitana earned him a big money move to AC Milan, and he went on to become a legend for Milan and Italy. His greatest honour coming when he won the World Cup with Italy in 2006.

I for one would love to see Rino back at Ibrox and would love to see him getting stuck in to Celtic in the old firm games. A true legend.
