It’s not long now until the Gers are back in European action and I know plenty of us are rightly excited about the game tomorrow night.
Spartak Moscow away from home will prove a tough test for the Gers but we’ve shown we can go to hard away games and get results in this campaign so there should be confidence.
Indeed, if we can win tomorrow night or at least get a draw the group will remain looking healthy for us and so it’ll be interesting to see how Steven Gerrard looks to set us up.
Certainly, team selection needs to be nailed for a game like this and I just wonder whether Scott Arfield will be dropped for this one.
To be honest, I doubt he will be given how regularly he has played but with some of our fans calling him out of late, I’m intrigued to see the feeling towards him.
