Rangers aren’t playing at the moment, but that hasn’t stopped us from keeping up with what some players are doing whilst away from their club team.
It’s likely that many other Rangers fans have been doing the same thing, too, but it appears as though one former Ger has also caught the eye.
David Bates, who left Rangers back earlier this year, made his debut for Scotland this week, and the young defender looked very good indeed. Solid and robust, he made a great impression.
He swapped Scotland for Germany over the summer, leaving Rangers for HSV in the Bundesliga, and that’s clearly been a good career move for him – even if we’d prefer it if he were at Ibrox still.
It appears as though many Rangers fans agree, too, at least judging by what fans have had to say about him. Bates recently shared an image and a comment on Twitter celebrating his debut, and lots of Rangers fans responded.
