Rangers have moved to the top of the Scottish Premiership table with a fabulous 2-1 victory against Hearts at Tynecastle this afternoon.
Goals from Connor Goldson and Alfredo Morelos provided the win for Steven Gerrard’s side, who had to dig deep and come from behind to secure all three points.
Further pressure was put on the Gers in the second half after Scott Arfield was shown a straight red card for sliding in on Hearts goalkeeper Zdenek Zlamal.
The shot-stopper gathered the ball on the Jam Tarts’ goal-line, with Arfield clearly feeling he could still challenge for the ball. Unfortunately that slide was mis-timed and he collided with his opponent, with Bobby Madden not hesitating in giving him his marching orders.
It wasn’t the most intelligent decision from the Canadian international and could have cost us a vital three points.
He’ll now be missing for important matches.
Many fans were left fuming with his actions, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts…

Arfield has let us down.. we needed him for Wednesday. It’s as if he wanted Wednesday night off.
