Rangers bounced back from two poor domestic results with a 2-0 win away to St Mirren on Saturday, keeping touch with teams at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
After losing to Aberdeen and drawing with Kilmarnock, it was hugely important that Steven Gerrard’s side picked up all three points in Paisley and although the goals came late, that was exactly what was delivered.
It may not have been the most thrilling of performances, but it was a case of job done when the 90 minutes were up.
One of the players who did get pass marks was Andy Halliday, who was selected out of position at left-back and did a fine job on that flank trying to keep Rangers moving up the pitch.
He was arguably the side’s top performer and showed real desire to pick up the win.
His run of form is a massive turnaround from this time last year when he was out on loan in Azerbaijan.
Has he finally done enough to be accepted by supporters?
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance…
