What a week it has been already and it’s only Wednesday, I’m starting to just look forward to the end of the campaign.
Of course, we’ve still got a little bit to aim for this season but after the weekend I am highly doubtful we are going to be able to really achieve it.
Certainly, that result in itself is enough to wreck momentum but, more so, the battle that ensued afterwards really has the ability to knock the stuffing out for the rest of the campaign.
Let’s take a look at the reaction to the news both Kenny Miller and Lee Wallace have been suspended then…
Rangers can confirm two players, Lee Wallace and Kenny Miller, have this morning been suspended pending investigation into a team related incident.
The club will make no further comment until this investigation has been completed.

Absolutely disgraceful!!! The only crime Wallace & Miller done was tell the truth just like what the fans were thinking

When will board members be suspended for gross negligence for failing to appoint a proper manager in their last 2 attempts?
— Davie (@coplandrear4) April 17, 2018
How about you suspend Dave King?

Lee Wallace stood by us in our darkest hour and as of today we stand by him. We deserve better

We followed you down the the 3rd division and back again.
We followed regardless of results.
We followed for the love and loyalty we have for OUR club.Unless you do what is best and get a fully qualified manager in asap, you will lose us all. pic.twitter.com/2ydgVLw1NI

Turning into a laughing stock, from the board, the players to even the media team we are nothing but a shambles.

Suspend Murty, Dave King and co on a permanent basis

The Verdict
This has not been a good week and I fear there’s plenty more to come in light of what has gone on.
I think Graeme has blown his chances to be our next permanent manager whilst I think the players might eventually come back into the fold.
It’s all gone to pot of late, though, and I certainly can’t wait until we’re restored back to our rightful place.
Thoughts, Gers? Let me know!
