All this talk about Ray Wilkins recently on Vital Football reminded me of the goal he scored against Celtic in 1988 in the 5-1 game.

I remember it so well, it was a goal made in England. A throw in taken by Gary Stevens, headed on by Terry Butcher and into the path of Ray Wilkins who volleyed it from about 25 yards out past the hapless Ian Andrews…. Beautiful.
