The Scottish Premiership season continued with the latest round of games played during midweek.

Celtic dropped rare points when the recently confirmed champions drew with Partick. Aberdeen look good for second after another win and a further two points were dropped by Rangers.

Inverness seems as though they’ll finish bottom and end up in the Scottish Championship?

Here’s a round-up of the Scottish Premiership action from the other games.

Aberdeen’s tenth successive Pittodrie win came when they beat struggling Inverness 1-0. This narrow victory, against rock bottom Caley, took the Dons 13 points clear of second place rivals Rangers but still a whopping 22 behind recently crowned champions Celtic.

Ross County scored a last minute winner to see off Dundee 2-1 – this moved them a step closer to safety but left the Dees looking over their shoulders with serious relegation concerns.

Celtic’s first game since being official crowned as champions again ended with points being dropped for only the third time this season – Partick made the most of the home sides missed penalty to earn a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park.

Kilmarnock’s unbeaten run was extended to six when they, under the interim management of former Rangers captain Lee McCulloch, frustrated the Gers in Wednesday’s 0-0 draw.

A lack of goals on Wednesday evening continued with struggling Motherwell and Hamilton playing out another 0-0 draw with just a third goal of the night scored by St Johnstone when they beat Hearts, strengthening their bid to finish in fourth.
