The 2016-17 Scottish Cup season continues with the latest round of games. Among this upcoming schedule is one for Rangers against Celtic at Hampden Park on Sunday with it having a 12 noon kick-off.

Previous results

Saturday 4th March – SCOTTISH CUP – QUARTER-FINAL
Rangers 6-0 Hamilton Academical 12:30
Hibernian 3-1 Ayr United 15:00

Sunday 5th March 2017 – SCOTTISH CUP – QUARTER-FINAL
Celtic 4-1 St Mirren 12:30
Aberdeen 1-0 Partick Thistle 15:00

Rangers have finished much, much further behind Old Firm rivals Celtic than we would have hoped but with Aberdeen, second, too far ahead in the Premiership victory at Hampden Park would at least keep alive the chance of winning some silverware.

Obviously the work to get this far was undertaken before Pedro Caixinha was appointed but if the Rangers boss can oversee a victory over Celtic in this semi-final he’ll not only do his popularity a world of good but the Portuguese will boost his chances of claiming his first trophy too. It could also mean the chances of avenging last season’s final defeat to Hibernian are on as they could well be faced if they overcome Aberdeen?

The ONLY thing on our minds at the moment though is winning this last-four meeting, Celtic or not, however we can achieve it?

What will happen in this one though? Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment for Rangers come the full time whistle.
