The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of games. Among this upcoming schedule is one for Rangers against Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday with it having a 12:30pm kick-off.

Previous results

Tuesday 4th April 2017 – SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP
Aberdeen 1-0 Inverness Caledonian Thistle 19:45
Ross County 2-1 Dundee 19:45

Wednesday 5th April – SCOTTISH PREMIERSHIP
Celtic 1-1 Partick Thistle 19:45
Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers 19:45
Motherwell 0-0 Hamilton Academical 19:45
St Johnstone 1-0 Heart of Midlothian 19:45

Pedro Caixinha remains unbeaten but, as the Rangers boss continues to look at alternatives whilst assesses his options, back-to-back draws, against Motherwell and at Kilmarnock on Wednesday, have turned the slim chances of finishing in second into virtually no chance.

Sunday’s meeting with Aberdeen, first of two Premiership games against the Dons before the end of the campaign, will see Rangers head to Pittodrie 12 points behind the team in second – themselves 23 points off Old Firm rivals Celtic.

With Aberdeen having such a superior goal difference this is effectively 13 points, which isn’t going to be made up now is it? However, Rangers need form and momentum heading into the Scottish Cup semi-final with Celtic later in the month – a win at Pittodrie, against a Dons side that have won the last 10 at home I believe, would certainly do the trick.

What will happen in this one though? Cast your vote so we know if you think it’ll be all smiles or disappointment for the Gers come the full time whistle.
