Rangers were beaten by Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday.

Having previously been beaten at Ibrox by Celtic this season, Rangers suffered a first home defeat against Aberdeen since 1991 – the second-placed Dons recording a 2-1 victory in the Gers’ final game of the season at Ibrox.

This isn’t the way Rangers would have wanted to end but after Graeme Shinnie had put Aberdeen ahead only Wes Foderingham prevented the visitors from scoring more until the keeper was beaten by Ryan Christie after the break.

Substitute Martyn Waghorn pulled a goal back but it wasn’t enough to prevent the Dons, who finished with 10 men when Jayden Stockley saw red for two yellows.

This video shows the highlights from this game at Ibrox.
