Club captain James Tavernier again led by example for Rangers on Sunday, helping his side to a big victory at home to Hearts.
It was a statement win against the Scottish Premiership leaders, with three goals coming in the first half to blitz the visitors and send the Gers on their way to a 3-1 scoreline.
Coming just days after an energy sapping performance against Rapid Vienna, it was a fantastic showing.
Tavernier was again at the heart of the display, defending well and getting forward to support his teammates and deliver some lethal crosses into the box.
With six goals and eight assists so far this season already, there isn’t a more effective full-back in Scottish football right now.
Supporters have taken to Twitter over the last 24 hours to share their thoughts on his performance…
James Tavernier is by far the best crosser of a ball in Scotland

Tavernier picking up where he left off last Thursday. Great on both ends of the pitch. His concentration levels are being impressive. Keep it it!

I reckon PSG, Man City and Man Utd are the only three teams that could afford James Tavernier…if they all chipped in.
